Design and Production Management

Having regularly used Quark Xpress to lay out pages in the past, I have a good eye for design and understand the need to balance the sometimes conflicting demands of text, pics and white space in a layout. Nowadays, with my focus on writing, I still liaise with and brief professional designers on a day-to-day basis and am competent at overseeing the production process from raw copy through layout to pre-press and print.
